Celestial Beerworks opened this past weekend in Dallas’ Medical District. The brewery is a venture of Matt Reynolds, formerly brewer at Malai Kitchen in Dallas. Reynolds is a former mechanical engineer and a graduate of the American Brewers Guild program.

Outfit Brewing opened this past week in an industrial park off I-35E in northwest Dallas. The venture is the first professional position for owner and brewer Jordan Young, who built his brewery in an empty warehouse owned by his family’s business.

Oak Highlands Brewery held official grand opening celebrations last weekend at the brewery’s site in the Lake Highlands area of northwest Dallas. Owners and brewers Brad Mall and Derrin Williams made the move from homebrewers to professional with the investment of a number of local residents and the assistance of local brewing consultant John Sims.
