FireWheel Brewing closes

Full+LOGO+JPEGRowlett’s FireWheel Brewing Company closed last week with a last “farewell” brewery tour on Saturday featuring some reserved and special releases. No specific reasons were given but financial difficulties are suspected, despite recent additional partners/ownership and the move to a new and larger brewery only late last year.

FireWheel Brewing opened in 2012 as the first production brewery in Rowlett. Founder and owner Brad Perkinson has given no indication of his immediate future plans.
