Head brewer Austin Jones left Zio Carlo Magnolia Brew Pub in December after two years to pursue further personal projects. Brewing duties have been taken up by founder Carlo Galotto, manager Adam Gonzales and their staff.
North Texas brewers sue state

Reds Roadhouse adds brewpub operations
Reds Roadhouse added brewpub operations to their facilities in Kennedale this month with the debut of their house-brewed beers last weekend. The brewing duties are handled by first-time brewer Lyle Valentich. Reds Roadhouse opened in May 2012 as a restaurant, bar and live music venue with a Texas roadhouse theme.
Small Brewpub opens
Small Brewpub opened this week in Dallas’ Oak Cliff neighborhood. Founder and head brewer Aaron Garcia has paired with Misti Norris, formerly of FT33, for a seasonally inspired menu with a mix of house-brewed and commercial craft beers and cocktails.
FireWheel Brewing moves to new facility
Rowlett’s FireWheel Brewing relocated to a new production brewery as part of their commercial expansion. On page 114, Jason van Gilder’s name is omitted from the list of Rahr & Sons brewers. Van Gilder was employed at Rahr & Sons Brewing during 2008-2009, and was also employed at Lakewood Brewing as lead brewer from 2012-2014.
